Fundraising Level-Up
A successful pitch is the difference between a good fundraising appeal and a great fundraising appeal. I offer workshops and one-on-one coaching to help nonprofit leaders and board members hone passionate, empowering fundraising appeals and boost donor engagement and donations. Together, we’ll elevate your messaging, uncover opportunities to streamline the look of your fundraising messaging, improve your donor management, and identify other operational improvements that can help maximize donations.
End-of-Year Appeal Workshop
This 6-week series consists of four, 90 minute Zoom sessions each focusing on a different theme. By the end of this workshop you will have:
A clear and powerful appeal letter for your end-of-year fundraising
A confident, 2-4 minute verbal pitch to strengthen your face-to-face interactions with donors
A checklist to ensure that your appeal and your fundraising system are operating at their full capacity
Session One:
Finding your voice: Finding the right story to tell is often the hardest part of creating a pitch. I’ll help you through the weeds to craft a message that is meaningful to your donors and helps catapult your fundraising ask to the next level.
Session Two:
Practicing your pitch: It’s true, practice makes perfect! Good fundraising asks feel like they are almost second nature. Together we’ll hone your message and get you to the comfort level you need to maximize face time with donors.
Session Three:
Streamline the process: Are your operational systems in place to send your appeal letters? Is your online donation system ready to go? When was the last time you spot-checked your donor list? I’ll walk you through the checklist of everything you need to have in order to launch a successful fundraising appeal.
Session Four:
After the donation: Thanking donors is critical to maintaining their ongoing engagement. Together we’ll identify the steps your organization will take after donations come in to maintain a happy and positive relationship with your donors.
